Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

Ephesians 1:3, 4

Seventh-day Adventism is an ethnically and culturally diverse faith community of approximately 22 million members worldwide, maintaining a missionary presence in over 215 countries. Seventh-day Adventist theology corresponds to Reformation Protestant Christian teachings (e.g., the Trinity and the infallibility of Scripture) with the observance of Saturday, the seventh day of the week in Christian and Jewish calendars, as the Sabbath.  Another of our distinctive teachings places an emphasize on a plant-based diet and healthy lifestyle.

In the March 17, 2011 issue, USA Today reported that the Seventh-day Adventist faith is the fastest-growing denomination in the United States. Adventists have a governance system similar to United Methodists. Our General Conference is headquartered in suburban Washington, DC, with 13 divisions established throughout the world.

We view the Holy Scripture as painting a compelling portrait of God, and we are invited to explore, experience and know the One who desires to make us whole. These teachings are meant to permeate our entire being.
