For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God.
The Carmel Seventh-day Adventist Church was founded as a company in October of 2002. Initially, we met in several temporary locations before purchasing property in our current location in October of 2003.
Since that time, we maintained an ambitious building effort that progressed dramatically until the project's completion. From the humble beginning of a small house on the corner we steadily expanded. We grew beyond the capacity of the original building and built the interim sanctuary/multi-purpose addition which we started using in December 2010. The sanctuary phase was completed in January 2014.
Here's the original house on the corner of 146th & Carey.
